The Union, was originally built in 1922 as the Pomona YMCA, and is on the Registry of Historical Places in California.

Above is a photo from the archive, back when this was a YMCA building. The YMCA organization eventually moved in 2008 and the building was was vacant until the Spectra Company recently renovated and it was opened as the Union.

The palm trees which line the front of the property are all that are left from the Hotel Palomares (1885-1911), which existed at this location before the YMCA.
